The Summer of Football is back for another year – With the Wellington Phoenix squaring off against Sydney FC.

After ten days on the road in Rounds 10 and 11, the Phoenix return to Westpac Stadium where Coach Kalezić will be looking for a response from his side, who will feel unlucky not to have picked up points last week against Perth Glory.

For the visitors Sydney FC, a strong 3-1 win against Melbourne City FC last weekend cemented their spot at the top of the ladder, with a five-point lead heading into this week’s matches.

For the home side, Captain Andrew Durante returns to the squad after missing the match against Perth Glory, while forward Roy Krishna is still out with a knee injury suffered against Melbourne Victory, but midfielder Michael McGlinchey returns to the squad following a short spell on the side-line with a groin strain.
