Wellington Phoenix Academy
Fitter, faster, stronger.
The Wellington Phoenix is New Zealand’s largest professional football club, competing in the A-Leagues and developing future talent through our Academy. Our Academy provides a pathway to professional football via both the A-League Men (ALM) and A-League Women (ALW) teams.
Dedicated to nurturing talent from across New Zealand, the Academy integrates football and personal growth in an inspiring environment. With tailored programmes for different age groups, we focus on developing players both on and off the field.
We also prioritise education, working with schools to ensure that players balance academic and sporting ambitions. Many Academy graduates have successfully transitioned to professional football from the platform of the Phoenix Academy.
Elevating Football Excellence
At Wellington Phoenix Academy, our purpose is to develop the finest football talent in New Zealand and set a new standard for football clubs on the world stage. We proudly represent our diverse city, people, and fans through our commitment to excellence.
