Wellington Phoenix Double-Header

Wellington Phoenix v Melbourne City | Melbourne Victory

Your Match Day Schedule

Two matches, one big day. Your Phoenix women open their season against Melbourne City in a rematch of last season’s Grand Final. Then the Phoenix men take on Melbourne Victory, the side we faced in our very first A-League match back in 2007. Nineteen years on, our 20th season kicks off right where it all began.

10am: Car park opens
11am: Box office opens
11.45am: Gates open

Don’t forget that EzyTicket and mobile tickets are available for this game

You can print your ticket at home or download it directly to your smartphone (right up until kick-off). Be sure to set your screen brightness to full, and check for any cracks that might affect the barcode reader. If your screen is cracked, please print your ticket.

Getting in with your membership

Season pass and Macca’s Junior Nix members: Your membership is on your phone this season. Log in below to find your digital membership ticket, and add it to your phone’s wallet before matchday so it’s ready at the gate.

Ninja A-League, Triple Nix and Nix Six members: You’ll need to redeem a ticket before you come. Your unique promo code is in your emails. If you are having trouble, please visit Box Office 1 on the day.

Scan In & Out:
It’s a long day of football with plenty happening between matches. If you’re heading out for a breather before the men’s game, please exit via the security booth (far left) so your ticket can be scanned, that way you can re-enter later. If you’re heading home for good, no need to scan out.

Before kick-off
Head to the Nix Fan Zone, new this season, near Aisles 14 to 16.

  • Thanks to McDonald’s: face painting, a bouncy castle and free Macca’s x Wellington Phoenix rally towels while they last. Free fries vouchers are handed out after the match.
  • Chemist Warehouse: have a shot at the inflatable house target for a chance to win a prize.
  • Gazley: try the keepy-uppy challenge. Most juggles takes home a prize pack.

20th season match day programme: Find us on the Fran Wilde Walkway selling the 20th anniversary matchday programme. It’s $15, eftpos or cash.

Drax Project, pitchside: The first 200 people through the gates get a wristband to watch Drax Project from pitchside between the games. Entry is by the stairs at Aisles 24 and 26, and only with a wristband.

Merch: We’re back to black. Ou 20th season kit is a nod to our original, and it’s available to purchase before kick-off and between games. Find it at the Aisle 23 stall or the merch trailer on the inner plaza as you come through the gates.

12.10pm: Be in your seat for the whakatau as your Phoenix women take the field for the first time this Ninja A-League season.

12.15pm: The Phoenix women kick off

Half-time (1.05–1.20pm): Grab some food and get ready for the Nix Dance Cam. The best dancer wins a Phoenix merch pack and a double pass to next Sunday’s double-header. Keep an eye out for t-shirts flying into the stands thanks to our Principal Partners, OPPO and Entelar Group.

2.05pm: Full-time (approx)

2.20–2.45pm: Drax Project live

2.50pm: Be in your seat for the whakatau as your Phoenix men take the field for the first time this A-League Men season.

3pm: The Phoenix men kick off

Half-time (3.50–4.05pm): Stay in your seat. We’re revealing the 20th Anniversary all-time men’s XI, as voted by you. Colgate and Chemist Warehouse’s Bright Smile Detector will also be scanning the crowd for the biggest smiles, and there are prizes to win.

After the match: The Phoenix men will be signing at the South End. Then keep the day going at Two Grey Bar, 2 Grey Street, with food and drink specials for Phoenix fans and a Q&A with Head Coach Chris Greenacre and some of the players. Everyone’s welcome, but space is limited, so don’t hang about.

Stay safe: If you have a security concern or notice an issue, text 5454 anonymously to reach stadium security.

Thank you for your incredible support of Wellington Phoenix, whether it’s your first match or you’ve been with us since 2007. Enjoy the day, and get home safe.
