Young Wellington Phoenix playmaker Alyssa Whinham needs your support in order to be recognised at the Dolan Warren Awards next Thursday night.
The 18-year-old is one of three players in the running for the Liberty A-League fans’ young player of the year award.

After impressive performances off the bench in the Phoenix’s first two matches, the scholarship player started the remaining 12 games in the team’s inaugural season.
Whinham became the club’s second ever goal scorer when she found the back of the net against Brisbane Roar on January 16, but it was her priceless reaction which was even more memorable.
She was named the young women’s footballer of the month for January and as a result was nominated for the young women’s footballer of the year award.
