SHOTT Beverages signs on as corporate partner

Another local business has stepped up to support the Wellington Phoenix women in their inaugural Liberty A-League season.

SHOTT Beverages has signed on as a corporate partner of the team and will be their front of shorts sponsor.

Eagle eyed observers would have noticed the SHOTT logo on the players’ shorts in their third round A-League match against Sydney FC yesterday evening.

SHOTT Beverages is a Wellington business, founded in Petone in 2006, that manufactures fruit and coffee syrups made from real ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.

It has become a much desired brand in the Wellington region, New Zealand and around the world.

“Being founded and headquartered in Wellington is something we are immensely proud of as a business,” SHOTT Beverages CEO David Shearer said.

“For some time, we have been looking at ways we can support the local community that gave us the foundation for the global business we have today.

“Upon hearing that the Wellington Phoenix women’s team would be entering the A-League, we immediately knew that partnering with this team would be the perfect fit for our business.

“Reminiscing on our journey beyond Wellington, we were reminded that forging new ground requires support, and we are elated to be part of that network for this incredible group of women.

“We can’t wait to see what they achieve this season and look forward to working with the wider team.”

Wellington Phoenix general manager David Dome has welcomed SHOTT Beverages on board.

“We are immensely grateful that David and the team at SHOTT have answered the call to support our women,” Dome said.

“SHOTT is a great Wellington brand that’s got a following across New Zealand like the Wellington Phoenix so they are the perfect fit for the club.”

SHOTT Beverages are the women’s third commercial partner after New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport (NZCIS) and Comrad Medical Systems signed on as the front-of-shirt and sleeve sponsors respectively on the eve of their historic first season.
