He has just completed his school exams, and now Matthew Ridenton faces a test of his footballing credentials after being named in the Phoenix squad to play Perth tomorrow night.
The 17-year-old is the son of former All White Michael Ridenton and the midfielder flew to Perth with a 17-strong squad yesterday after Carlos Hernandez was ruled out with a quad injury.
