Deloitte has teamed up with the Wellington Phoenix as the club-s official accountancy partner.
The firm has a proud history of sporting association and is looking forward to continue that in its relationship with the Phoenix.
One of the world-s leading professional services firms, Deloitte New Zealand has more than 900 specialists providing audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services to clients spanning multiple industries across the country .
This partnership will see Deloitte have responsibility for the club-s accountancy requirements, not only in the day-to-day financial management, but also assisting with some strategic accountancy advice and data analytics. As part of the relationship, Deloitte will embed one of their staff into the organisation.
The new relationship follows in the footsteps of the recently announced Clemenger BBDO advertising partnership with the Phoenix and is further evidence the ownership partners are putting in place a successful and sustainable structure.
Phoenix General Manager David Dome is delighted to have such a renowned company join forces with the club.
“Getting such a prestigious firm on board is another big plus for the club and again reinforces the value that corporate New Zealand is recognising in the Phoenix,” said Dome.
Deloitte Accounting and Advisory Partner Stephen Nicholas said the company was very excited about working with the Phoenix.
“The Phoenix has come a long way and we are delighted to now also be a part of helping the club continue its success story,” Nicholas said.
