Chris Greenacre played over 350 games in England, including time at Manchester City and Tranmere Rovers where he scored 52 goals in 150 appearances. A tireless centre-forward, he finished his impressive playing career with a three-season stint at Wellington Phoenix during which he scored 19 goals in 84 appearances. He retired at the end of the 2011/2012 A-League season to become the Phoenix’s Assistant Coach and Head Coach Ernie Merrick’s right-hand man.
