The Wellington Phoenix have created a revenue share programme to help support grassroots clubs in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara.
Ten per cent of the price of each ticket sold for next Sunday’s Ninja A-League match between the Phoenix and Brisbane Roar at Porirua Park will go back to Capital Football clubs when fans use a unique code at checkout.
Phoenix general manager David Dome hopes to be able to roll out the revenue share programme for all of the remaining women’s home matches this season.
“This is a great chance of us to give back to the clubs who are the backbone of the game in Wellington, and help nurture and develop the next generation of Phoenix players,” Dome said.
“But we need your support. Go to wellingtonphoenix.com to buy your tickets and enter your club’s code (listed below) to ensure 10% of the ticket price will go back to your club.
“You don’t have to be a member to support your local club, whether that’s in Wellington City, in the Hutt Valley, in Porirua, the Kapiti Coast or in Wairarapa.
“And if this revenue share programme is a success next week we will look to extend if for the women’s remaining nine games at Porirua Park.”
Tickets for all Wellington Phoenix women’s matches are just $15 for an adult, $5 for a child (4-15 years) and just $32.50 for a family (2 adults and 2 children).
Capital Football has shared the revenue share codes with all of the clubs in the greater Wellington region and they are also listed below.
