Over 26,000 tickets have gone for the historic Carlsberg Football United Tour Wellington double header involving the Phoenix, West Ham, Newcastle and Sydney FC.
Wellington Phoenix General Manager David Dome said the Club was thrilled with the sales to date and was looking to put on a full day of activities around the football matches.
“With three weeks to go, there are less than 6,000 tickets available which we are really pleased about.
“Historically these events sell strongly in the last weeks so we are urging fans to purchase quickly or they will miss out
“It will be a full day of activities, with plenty for families to do and for sports fans to get excited about.”
Yellow Fever spokesperson Guy Smith said that fans were eagerly anticipating what promises to be a huge afternoon football.
“It should be a huge day, with two great games on and a chance to check out the new Nix signings.
“You’ll be gutted if you miss it.”
