All Whites Midfielder, Michael McGlinchey, will be departing the Wellington Phoenix, effective immediately, after four seasons and 85 appearances for the club.
McGlinchey joined the Wellington Phoenix prior to the 2014/15 season after winning a Hyundai A-League Championship title with the Central Coast Mariners.
McGlinchey who scored 11 goals and captained the Phoenix side on a number of occasions, clocked up his 200th Hyundai A-League appearance against Perth Glory at home, on 17 February 2018, an achievement attained by only 26 players throughout the history of the Hyundai A-League competition.
The Wellington Phoenix would like to thank Michael for his services over the past four seasons and wish him and his family all the very best.
