Olivia Ingham was the first female player to join the Wellington Phoenix academy, arriving in 2021 from North Wellington FC.
She signed a three-year scholarship deal with the Phoenix in August 2023, her first professional contract.
At the time, she was the reigning academy player of the year, having impressed throughout her time in the reserves.
However, she had ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament the previous December, which ruled her out of a large part of the 23-24 season.

Olivia Ingham had an injury disrupted year in her first season as a professional.
She had an extended recovery period after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament in December 2022 but was able to make her professional debut late in the season.
Ingham came off the bench against Canberra United in March, her first senior appearance.
She was also selected for the Junior Football Ferns squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup and appeared in two matches as a substitute.
Ingham was upgraded to a full senior contract for the 24-25 campaign.
