Max Anderson signed on with the Phoenix in September 2026, inking a two-year deal.

The Scottish midfielder began his career at Dundee FC, making 94 appearances for their first team as an academy graduate.

He then moved to Crawley Town, where he spent two years across League One and League Two.

The one-time Scottish U-21 international first learned about the club via a chance conversation with former Nix midfielder Alex Rodriguez.

Anderson earned himself a piece of history in England when he scored the EFL’s 600,000th goal for Crawley.

He signed for the Nix in September 2026.

“It came up pretty quickly, I spoke with the manager on a call and the minute I spoke with him, he sold the club completely,” he said.

“It just suited everything I was about and what I want to be like as a player.

“I’m more a box to box type of midfielder, I try to bring as much drive and energy to the team with work on the ball, off the ball, I try to contribute to the odd goal.”
