Bryce Duke joined the Wellington Phoenix on deadline day in September 2026, penning an initial one-year deal with the club.
The American attacking midfielder, born in Peoria, Arizona, began his career as part of the Real Salt Lake academy in 2016, before joining the Barça Residency Academy.
He earned his first pro contract with Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer at the beginning of 2020, going on to make his debut in the CONCACAF Champions League match against Club Leon.
In January 2022, Duke was traded to Inter Miami, where he made 35 appearances across one and a half seasons.
The diminutive playmaker was traded again in April 2023 alongside teammate Ariel Lassiter, heading to CF Montréal. He would make 76 appearances for the Canadian side in MLS, netting five times.
Reigning Western Conference champions San Diego FC signed Duke as a free agent at the beginning of 2026.
However, he only made five appearances during the MLS season before joining the Nix.

“I couldn’t be more excited to experience a whole new world, to be part of the community, part of the team, and I’m just looking forward to giving my all for the badge.
