Brooke Nunn

Brooke Nunn joined the Wellington Phoenix on the eve of the 2025-26 Ninja A-League season as the team’s fifth and final visa player.

The English forward came through the Arsenal academy and played for the Gunners as a teenager.

Nunn spent eight years at Arsenal before playing for London Bees and London City Lionesses in the English Championship.

She has also played for Altay in Turkey and Scottish clubs Hibernian and Motherwell before signing with the Central Coast Mariners in 2024.

Nunn was an integral member of the Mariners’ championship winning side, featuring in all 27 of their matches as they lifted the A-League trophy and scoring four goals.

Brooke Nunn made an instant impact for the Wellington Phoenix, being voted both media and members’ player of the year and sharing the golden boot with Pia Vlok.

Her six goals and six assists were both team-highs, and she consistently stood out as an attack-minded wing-back.

Nunn also provided the crucial pass to set up Makala Woods’ winning goal in the home semi-final against Brisbane Roar.

She signed a one-year extension in March 2026.

“I didn’t realise I could fall in love with a club, a country and a culture so much,” Nunn said.

“I have so much respect for the people and the land, and that’s such a big thing for me.

“I feel like we’ve been creating so many beautiful, historic moments at the Phoenix and I want to continue contributing to being part of the success of this team and really showing the world what this club’s about.”
