Aimee Danieli

Aimee Danieli signed a two-year scholarship contract with the Wellington Phoenix in August 2024 after being a training partner with the first team during the 2023-24 season.
The goalkeeper started her footballing journey at Eastern Suburbs in Auckland and played for Cambridge FC, Hamilton Wanderers and Auckland United before moving to Wellington at the start of 2023 to join the academy.
Danieli made her professional debut in the women’s final game of the 2023-24 season, coming off the bench against Western Sydney Wanderers.
She was also part of the Junior Football Ferns squad for the 2024 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Colombia, where she was an unused substitute for all three games.

Aimee Danieli made her second A-League appearance for the Phoenix in the team’s home opener, coming on at halftime to replace an injured Carolina Vilão.
Danieli didn’t make another appearance with a concussion and injuries preventing her from pushing for a place in goal.
