The Wellington Phoenix’s round seven Liberty A-League women’s match against the Brisbane Roar has been moved forward a couple of hours.
The Phoenix were originally scheduled to play the Roar at WIN Stadium in Wollongong at 4:05pm AEDT (6:05pm NZT) this Sunday.
The match will now kick-off at 2:05pm AEDT (4:05pm NZT) on Sunday at the same venue.
The fixture has been brought forward to help the A-Leagues’ broadcast partner, which is experiencing staffing issues as a result of the Omicron outbreak in New South Wales.
It will now be the first match of a Liberty A-League triple-header on Sunday, with the Western Sydney Wanderers to play host to Melbourne Victory in the second match at 4:05pm AEDT (6:05pm NZT) before Perth Glory visit the Newcastle Jets at 6:20pm AEDT (8:20pm NZT).
