Wellington Phoenix E-League competitors confirmed for 2019.

The E-League draft was held late last night as Wellington Phoenix gained three fantastic gamers to compete in the upcoming 2019 E-League season.

Justin Josevski (N8 JustManUtd12) returns to represent the Nix for his second season in the Xbox format of the competition with teammate Omer Cenk (Ocenk_) in his inaugural year playing on Playstation. Our final draft pick was Daniel Ryan,(D-Ry,) who will act as a substitute player this season should either Justin or Omer be unable to participate during a round.

While the rules of the E-League competition means players must be Australian residents, the signed players for Wellington Phoenix are excited for the opportunity to represent the club.

Justin is thrilled to be back at the Wellington Phoenix once again.

”It feels so amazing to be able to represent the Nix for a second year on Xbox.

”I had such a great experience last year during the E-league and I can’t wait for it again!

”I hope myself and everyone involved in the team can do the Wellington Phoenix faithful proud!” Justin said.

New signing, Omer Cenk is excited to get started as he enjoys his first year in the E-League.

”As this is my first year in the E-League, I’m looking forward to playing some of the best players in our region!

”It is an amazing feeling and an honour to be representing the Wellington Phoenix in the competition.

”I am very excited and cannot wait to begin.

”My first memories of FIFA probably go back to my early high school days.

”Me and my close friends used to count down the minutes until school finished so we could rush home and play our daily games of FIFA.

”It was basically tradition and we would get very competitive, putting our pride on the line every game.

”It honestly made me into the competitive player I am today.”

Cenk expressed his hopes for the competition.

”My hopes are nothing short of winning the competition for the Nix! I will do everything in my power to bring success this season.” Cenk said.

Our third and final draft pick is Daniel Ryan, who is also debuting this season and wishes to bring glory to the club.

”Personally, I want to get my name out there to the community to show my FIFA ability and to be a constantly recognised name in the ANZ FIFA scene.

”For the team, I hope myself, Justin and Omer can have a strong showing for the Nix and make everyone in New Zealand proud.

The ultimate goal is to bring the E-League trophy back to the Nix!” Ryan Said.

The E-League will kick-off on Thursday 21st February 2019 and is part of the EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series which serves part of the qualification process to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
