Wellington Phoenix Ins and Outs – Round 26

Thumbnail

Wellington Phoenix return to Westpac Stadium for their last home game of the regular Hyundai A-League season, in the hopes that it won’t be the last time they play in front of the Wellington crowd this season.

The fifth-placed Wellington Phoenix side will host top four contenders, Melbourne City this Sunday 21 April, as they both carry intentions of securing a Hyundai A-League home finals playoff.

Despite two defeats on the bounce, Mark Rudan’s side will be confident heading into this game after defeating Warren Joyce’s side earlier in the season at Westpac Stadium thanks to a wonderfully taken goal by in-form David Williams.
