The Wellington Phoenix are proud to announce a partnership with Right2Drive for the 2020/21 A-League season, with the company’s logo appearing on the right sleeve of the club’s home and away playing kits.
Right2Drive is a dedicated, specialist provider of accident replacement vehicles, with 23 locations across both New Zealand and Australia.
Since 2012, they have helped over 100,000 drivers get back on the road after their not at-fault motor accident. With a highly trained and extremely passionate team of 230 staff, Right2Drive are continually working towards meeting and exceeding their customers’ needs.
Wellington Phoenix General Manager, David Dome, says the club is excited at the prospect of partnering with Right2Drive for the upcoming season – as the club bases itself out of its ‘adopted’ city of Wollongong, New South Wales.
“As we have relocated to Wollongong for season 20/21, it’s been amazing how businesses in both Australia and New Zealand have got in behind the club to help the club both logistically and financially,” says Dome.
“Beyond our shared values, Right2Drive have been instrumental in helping our team to hit the ground running in Wollongong over the past six weeks – as transport plays a key role in our players and staff getting where they need to go in preparation for the season ahead.
“The excellence of their service, the responsiveness of their people and the downright willingness and passion of their people to just want to help has been quite humbling.
‘’It’s fantastic to partner with Right2Drive, we look forward to a great relationship with this innovative company as we set our sights on a third straight A-League Finals appearance.
“We’ll wear the Right2Drive logo on our sleeve with pride this season and will look to reward their faith in us by playing an exciting, winning, brand of football for the fans.”
Right2Drive Group CEO, James Tonna, says that the opportunity to partner with a successful A-League club such as the Wellington Phoenix, was too good of an opportunity for the company to pass up.
“We are excited to be partnering with the Wellington Phoenix for the 20/21 A-League Season,” says Tonna.
“During these unprecedented times, we couldn’t imagine the depth of the financial and logistical organisation of having to relocate an entire team to Australia and we are delighted that we can assist the club in these challenging times!”
