We look forward to continuing our solid relationship with KPMG this season and we thank their team for helping us be as prepared as possible for the 2020/21 A-League season – we couldn’t ask for a better business partner and we know their advisory services are world-leading, as we have experienced these first-hand!

As a New Zealand-owned, globally-focused organisation, KPMG New Zealand provides its clients with access to the impressive depth of resources within KPMG’s global network. Worldwide, KPMG operates in 147 countries, collectively employing more than 219,000 people in member firms around the world.

The Wellington Phoenix already has an existing relationship with KPMG as its official accountancy and business partner, and General Manager David Dome says that the extension of this partnership comes at a crucial time for the club.

“KPMG has been invaluable for the club over the past several months as we’ve based the team in New South Wales – this decision has come with a series of extremely complex issues that the KPMG team has helped us to navigate,” says Dome.

“Their advice and support during this time has made all the difference, so having KPMG stepping up as our principal partner and appearing on the front of the players’ jerseys this season is fitting.

“We look forward to continuing our solid relationship with KPMG this season and we thank their team for helping us be as prepared as possible for the 2020/21 A-League season – we couldn’t ask for a better business partner and we know their advisory services are world-leading, as we have experienced these first-hand!”

KPMG Chief Executive Godfrey Boyce says that “KPMG values its long-standing relationship with the Wellington Phoenix and is honoured to have that role acknowledged for the 2020/21 season.”

The Wellington Phoenix kicks off the A-League 2020/21 Season on Saturday 2 January, at Win Stadium against Sydney FC. Tickets available now via ticketmaster.com.au.
