The Wellington Phoenix women and men will kick-off their new seasons in October.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have confirmed the start dates for the 2023-24 A-Leagues, with round by round draws to follow next month.
The Liberty A-League will kick-off on the weekend of 13-15 October, with the women’s campaign to be extended to a 22-game regular season as a result of the addition of the Central Coast Mariners.
The men’s 26-round Isuzu UTE A-League will start the week after the women, on the weekend of 20-22 October.
Both competitions will both conclude in May 2024, with the A-Leagues to break for all FIFA international windows.
The Isuzu UTE A-League however won’t pause for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 in January and February.
APL expects more information on the 2023-24 season draw to follow in August.
The Phoenix men have already started pre-season training, while the women will assemble in early September after the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
