The Wellington Phoenix are celebrating their 20th season with a 20% early bird discount on club memberships*.
It’s on top of the Phoenix already reducing the price of season passes up to 33% in response to the cost of living crisis.
As a result, for the next fortnight a Nix fan can secure an all-in adult membership, including access to all 22 men’s and women’s A-League matches in the Wellington region, for just $271.26. That’s just $12.33 a game.
The cost of an adult Yellow Fever zone season pass for the men’s 12 Isuzu UTE A-League matches at Hnry Stadium is discounted to $201.60 from today (August 4) to Tuesday, August 18. That’s just $16.80 a game.
And for the next two weeks an adult membership for the women’s 10 Ninja A-League games will set a supporter back $11.68 a game or $116.80 in total.
Wellington Phoenix general manager David Dome says they have made their season passes more affordable as a thank you to the club’s loyal fans.
“Our supporters, particularly the Yellow Fever, are a big part of our history and we want all of them back for our 20th season,” Dome said.
“While players and coaches come and go, our fans are a constant presence and without them we simply wouldn’t have a club.
“We know the cost of living is biting everyone and pay cheques are stretched thinner than ever before, and we don’t want ticket prices to be a barrier to attendance.
“We want to be one of the most affordable teams in the league and with an adult membership from as low as $12 a game I’m sure we’ll certainly be that this year.
“There’s a lot to look forward to this season, with Bev looking to build on the women’s historic campaign and the men starting an exciting new era under Greeny, so I urge our supporters to not miss out on this early bird discount.”
The club has also re-introduced an Aussie supporter membership for Phoenix fans across the ditch.
Payment options are available for all season passes to help spread the cost.
The Wellington Phoenix men will open their 20th season with a rematch of the club’s inaugural fixture from 2007.
The Phoenix will play host to Melbourne Victory at Hnry Stadium on Sunday, October 18 in the opening matchweek of the 2026-27 season.
The Nix memorably came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with the then champion Victory in their maiden A-League match at the Ring of Fire in August 2007, with Shane Smeltz scoring an 84th minute equaliser.
Tickets go on sale in September so the best way to guarantee a seat is to buy a membership.
The Phoenix women’s draw is due to be announced this month but is due to start the same weekend as the men.
