Sky Sport and the Wellington Phoenix have partnered up to run a Community Day at Waitangi Park, this Thursday 20 May 2021 from 3.30-5pm.

“The Phoenix has always been about giving back to the community, so this event gives us an opportunity for our squad to show a bit of love to our fans – and hopefully get a little bit back in return.
The family-friendly event will feature Wellington Phoenix players interacting with the public through different activities, including a signing session, photo opportunities, prize giveaways, small-sided games and more.
Wellington Phoenix General Manager David Dome, says that the players are looking forward to being able to spend time with their Wellington fans again after spending over six months being based in Wollongong this season.
“The Wellington fans are massively important to these players, especially as we fight for a top six spot in the A-League finals – so this activity is perfect timing before our big match against Western United on Saturday,” says Dome.
“The Phoenix has always been about giving back to the community, so this event gives us an opportunity for our squad to show a bit of love to our fans – and hopefully get a little bit back in return.
