The Wellington Phoenix has surpassed a milestone 5,000 members for the first time ever.
General Manager David Dome said the Club were really pleased about hitting the magic 5,000 season memberships.
‘We passed 5,000 season memberships at the weekend – the first time ever we have gone past that number in our history.
‘We are extremely grateful for the support of fans around New Zealand, Australia and the world who have got in behind the Club on the back of the #savethenix campaign.
‘Led by Yellow Fever, the groundswell of support has been really humbling.’
Dome said the Phoenix were yet to launch their part-season ticket for the last run of home games in the regular season. Â
‘Our Final Four Package goes on sale on February 1 – fans can select any four games of our final six at Westpac Stadium’
‘We are hopeful we will get a few more season tickets out of this as well’
Membership partner Brendan Foot Supersite Dealer Principal David Foot said that they were thrilled they could be part of the history making event.
‘We’ve been supporters of the Club for a number of seasons now and are really proud to be the Membership Partner when we’ve hit this record.
‘We’re unconditional supporters – and are looking forward to the Phoenix ending the season on a high!’
