Phoenix fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with the players and coaches when the Wellington Phoenix FC holds its annual family-focused open day at Westpac Stadium on Sunday September 30.
From 11am-2pm on Sunday, September 30, there will be a wonderful opportunity for fans to get fired up for the Phoenix-s coming Hyundai A-League 2012/13 season.
The Open Day at Westpac Stadium has always been popular with the fans and with the squad this season looking the strongest it-s ever been the O…pen Day is sure to again attract thousands to Westpac Stadium.
The “Give It A Go” area will feature a range of fun football activities.
Fans will also have the opportunity to experience what happens behind the scenes on game day at Westpac Stadium. The Phoenix change rooms will be open for fans to explore. Better still, visitors will have the opportunity to walk out the players- tunnel on to the hallowed Westpac Stadium turf.
The full Phoenix squad including all the new signings will be on hand to chat with fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs. Classic Hits breakfast show hosts Dave Smart and Camille Guzzwell will host the event, featuring interviews with players, Phoenix giveaways and prizes.
2012/13 Club Members should bring their season ticket for access to a special lounge where there will be complimentary refreshments courtesy of Revera.
The Phoenix Family Day kicks off at 11am on Sunday, September 30, and finishes at 2pm.
