After spending three seasons at Wellington Phoenix as a teenager, Kosta Barbarouses had a breakout year with Brisbane Roar in 2011, winning the title, before heading offshore for playing stints in Russia and Greece. He returned to Australia three years ago and was an absolute standout for Melbourne Victory. He’s also a regular in the All Whites and one of the most exciting attackers in the Hyundai A-League, where he’s now scored 30 goals and created countless others in 127 matches. It’s great to have the boy from Miramar home.
