Kiwi IT firm Revera teams up with Phoenix

A FRESHLY-INKED deal with New Zealand-owned computing infrastructure provider Revera will launch a new sponsor to Wellington Phoenix fans.

Revera, who is perhaps better known to IT managers than football fans, will feature its logo on the back of the Phoenix-s playing shorts for the next two Hyundai A-League seasons. Revera will also provide IT services to Wellington Phoenix operations.

Revera general manager sales and marketing Robin Cockayne said the company was a huge supporter of football and the Phoenix in the Hyundai A-League.

“It-s a great opportunity to showcase our brand in a non IT environment. And what better team and fan base than the Wellington Phoenix.”

Wellington Phoenix Head of Commercial Operations Nathan Greenham said that while the Phoenix and Revera operated in very different fields, there were significant similarities between both organisations.

“Revera is proud to be a Kiwi-owned company. Like us, Revera has a commitment and a passion for New Zealand and also operates in a trans-Tasman environment. Most telling, though, is that Revera-s ethos is directly aligned with ours – they-ve worked hard to develop a culture where everyone plays a valued part in creating and delivering something unique and effective.”
