One of the most experienced strikers in the A-League, Griffiths has joined the Phoenix on a short-term deal until the end of the current A-League campaign after leaving the Newcastle Jets mid-season. 

A natural goal-scorer and constant handful for opposition defenders, the three-game Socceroo spent time in China between stints at Newcastle and Sydney FC, and has rack up close to 100 A-League appearances, scoring 37 goals.
