The Wellington Phoenix are proud to welcome InterContinental Wellington as the club’s official hotel partner.
The partnership reignites the relationship ahead of the Phoenix’s 20th season.
As the capital’s leading hotel, InterContinental Wellington will play a key role in supporting the club, while offering deals for Phoenix fans and the community.
Two Grey, on the corner of Featherston and Grey Street, will become a matchday hub for Wellington Phoenix supporters in the heart of the CBD, featuring exclusive benefits and offers for the league’s best fans.
Phoenix general manager David Dome believes the partnership makes perfect sense.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with InterContinental Wellington,” he said.
“InterContinental Wellington has been part of the Nix family previously, so having them back on board for our 20th season is ideal.”
“This partnership is a great example of Wellington supporting Wellington, which always adds an extra dimension to deals like these.”
“The hotel is in an outstanding location and the new offering for our fans, with matchday offers and a home away from home, will add to the fan experience all season.”
InterContinental Wellington general manager Adam Haywood can’t wait to see the partnership in action.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the Wellington Phoenix as the club embarks on its landmark 20th season,” he said.
“As Wellington’s leading luxury hotel, we are passionate about supporting organisations that bring our community together.”
“Through Two Grey’s transformation into a premium matchday destination, we’re excited to create a vibrant hub where supporters can gather before and after matches, connect with fellow fans, and celebrate their passion for the Wellington Phoenix.
“We look forward to welcoming players, supporters and the wider Wellington Phoenix family throughout the season and contributing to what promises to be a memorable year for the club and the Wellington community.”
Two Grey will be open for the season-opening double-header for the Phoenix on Sunday, October 18th at Hnry Stadium.
