Holmes Construction continues its support of the next generation of Kiwi footballers

The Wellington Phoenix are thrilled to announce Holmes Construction has extended its support for the club’s academy, signing on as the major partner for a further two years.

Established in Wairarapa in 1957, Holmes Construction brings nearly seven decades of proven construction expertise, built on a strong foundation of traditional Kiwi values.

Today, the majority family-owned business continues to evolve, supported by a wider team of industry professionals committed to growth, innovation, and long-term partnerships across Aotearoa.

As part of the partnership with the academy, Holmes will continue to be the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Phoenix men’s and women’s reserves sides in 2026 and 2027 while supporting all eight academy teams.

Academy technical director Emma Humphries has thanked Holmes Construction for extending their partnership with the club.

“We aren’t able to do what we do at Fraser Park without the backing of commercial partners like Holmes,” Humphries said.

“They share a lot of our values and are now our biggest supporters.

“Holmes have helped the academy greatly over the past 12 months and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together over the next two years.”

Holmes Construction managing director Ben Holmes says the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting opportunities for young people and investing in the wider community.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Wellington Phoenix academy and support the next generation of young footballers,” Holmes said.

“Supporting youth development aligns strongly with our values, and we’re excited to continue backing a programme that is developing future talent, strong leaders, and positive role models both on and off the pitch.”
