Four Nix named to A-League All Stars

The Wellington Phoenix are proud to have had four players selected in the Ninja A-League All Stars for next month’s match against Women’s Super League (WSL) giants Chelsea FC in Sydney.

Pia Vlok, Makala Woods, Grace Jale and Brooke Nunn have been named to the 18-strong All Stars squad over the past fortnight.

All four were key members of the Phoenix women’s side during their history-making 2025-26 campaign.

Vlok, 17,  was named the Ninja A-League young footballer of the year after scoring six goals and registering four assists in her maiden season as a professional.

Woods led the Nix with eight goals despite joining the team midway through the season as an injury replacement. The American also contributed five assists.

Jale was named the club’s player of the year in April after thriving in a new role in the heart of the midfield.

And Nunn was voted the eToro playmaker of the year after leading the Phoenix with seven assists, while also scoring six goals.
