The Wellington Phoenix is aware of a phishing scam taking place with a fraudulent agent sending players to Canberra, Australia for a trial with the club.

If you receive the message below, delete it immediately and do not engage with it.

The Wellington Phoenix will never communicate trials via WhatsApp and as reference club email addresses end in @wellingtonphoenix.com

If in doubt, never click on links, but always check the club website for details before engaging. If you have engaged, please contact your local authorities and bank (if relevant) immediately.
