The Wellington Phoenix advise that midfielder, Matthew Ridenton, will be departing the club to take up another opportunity with the Newcastle Jets.
Signing his first contract in 2013, Matt went on to play a total of 72 Hyundai A-League games, scoring four goals for Wellington.
The club would like to thank Matt for his service and wish him all the best for his future career.
