Lara Wall has received her maiden call-up to the Football Ferns.
The Wellington Phoenix fullback has been added to the Ferns squad for their upcoming internationals in North America as a replacement for clubmate CJ Bott, who has had to withdraw because of injury.
Wall, 25, is entering her second professional season with the Phoenix after a breakout 2024-25 Ninja A-League campaign.
She was one of just four players to feature in all 23 of the Nix’s A-League matches last season.
Wall was a second half substitute in the opening three games of the season before making the left back spot her own, starting the next 20.
She achieved all that while juggling her job as a structural engineer.

Wall will join Phoenix teammates Victoria Esson, Mackenzie Barry and Manaia Elliott in the Ferns squad for their matches against Mexico and the USA.
New Zealand will play two matches against Mexico, the first of which is in Mexico City on Friday (October 24) at 3pm NZT.
The second game between the two sides will be played in Juárez on Monday (October 27) 12pm NZT.
The Football Ferns will then travel to Missouri to take on the USA on Thursday 30 October at 1pm NZT at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City.
All three games will be broadcast live and free on FIFA+.
