Lily Brazendale
26 AttackerLily Brazendale made the step up from the Wellington Phoenix academy in December 2025 becoming one of a quartet of players to sign youth development agreements with the team.
She had already made her A-League debut from the bench against the Newcastle Jets at Porirua Park.
The striker has represented New Zealand at age-group level, including as part of the side who won the OFC U-19 Championship to qualify for the 2026 U-20 World Cup.
Before joining the Nix academy in 2024, Brazendale played for Hamilton Wanderers and Hillcrest United.
2024-25 season
Lily Brazendale was a mainstay for the Wellington Phoenix reserves during the 2025 season.
She most notably netted the opening goal in the Kate Sheppard cup semi-final against Cashmere Technical as the Nix reached the final for the first time.
She also scored five goals in the U15 Capital Development league for the reserves.
Brazendale was part of the New Zealand team that won the OFC U-19 Championship in Tahiti, netting six times across the tournament.
