The Wellington Phoenix will return to Melbourne early next week for the men’s Hahn Australia Cup quarter-final against Heidelberg United.
Football Australia has confirmed the last eight match-up will be played on Tuesday night at Olympic Village in Heidelberg West, Melbourne with kick-off at 9:30pm NZT (7:30pm AEST).
Heidelberg are currently equal top of National Premier Leagues (NPL) Victoria with Avondale FC and play fourth-placed Oakleigh Cannons in their penultimate game of the league season on Friday night.

It’s Wellington’s third quarter-final appearance. The Nix memorably beat Melbourne City on penalties in the 2021 Cup but lost to eventual champions Macarthur FC at the same stage of the competition the following season.
