The Wellington Phoenix will play their first 2007 Pre-Season Cup match against the Central Coast Mariners at Bluetongue Stadium Gosford on Saturday 14 July 2007.
The Phoenix are drawn in group B for the 2007 Pre-Season Cup alongside the Mariners, Queensland Roar & Sydney FC, whilst Adelaide United, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory have been drawn in Group A.
The competition kicks off on the weekend of the 14-15 July and each team will play the other teams in their group once over three (3) rounds.
Following the Group phase, the eight (8) teams will play-off for positions 1-8 in a knock-out phase over two rounds with the winner presented the 2007 Pre-Season Cup on Sunday 12 August.
