The Wellington Phoenix continue their preparations for the upcoming Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season with three games open to the public.
Head Coach Mark Rudan is keen to continue the development within his squad while recognising local talent and taking the Phoenix to the local community.
“Three pre-season games in the wider Wellington region is a great opportunity to work on improvements required in competitive match situations.
“As we now enter into the second phase of the pre-season, it is important we play as many competitive games as possible to prepare the squad tactically and physically for the A-League, while also getting the team out in the community and connecting with the fans.”
All games are open to the public.
The team then head back to Australia for another intensive 10-day closed door training camp where Rudan will look to test his squad further as they look to increase preparations heading toward the start of the season.
