Midfielder Max Burgess will depart Wellington Phoenix following the club’s Annual Awards Ceremony next Wednesday.
The 24-year old Australian joined Wellington Phoenix last year, joining from National Premier Leagues NSW side, Sydney Olympic FC.
“I’ve had the opportunity of playing with a great group of footballers and it’s been an absolute privilege wearing the Wellington Phoenix shirt and living in this fantastic city,” Burgess said.
“I’m very grateful to the club and the fans for their incredible support throughout the year, so thank you to everyone.”
The Wellington Phoenix thank Max for his season with us and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
