The Wellington Phoenix men will play five Isuzu UTE A-League matches next month in a return to more regular scheduling.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have announced the fixtures for March, with fewer mid-week matches than there were during the ‘February Football Frenzy’.
The Phoenix will start the month against Melbourne City on Sunday, March 6 at their new home away from home, Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.
The men played two A-League matches at Leichhardt last week, beating Brisbane Roar 3-0 before drawing 1-1 with Sydney FC.
They will head to Central Coast Stadium in Gosford, for their only mid-week match of the month, the following Wednesday to play a ‘home’ game against Newcastle Jets before travelling to Brisbane to face the Roar on Saturday.
The Phoenix will play the Jets again on Friday, March 18, this time in Newcastle, and will return to Leichhardt Oval to round out the month with another ‘home’ match against Perth Glory on Saturday, March 26.
