The Wellington Phoenix women will bring down the curtain on their inaugural Liberty A-League season at WIN Stadium in Wollongong on Friday, March 4.
Their final round match against Perth Glory has been brought forward a couple of days as WIN Stadium isn’t available on Sunday, March 6.
Venue management have ensured the women can still play at their home away from home for a sixth and final time this season so they can thank the local community for the support they have received.
Bringing the match forward will also give the New Zealand-based players and coaching staff more time to prepare for their flight home the following Tuesday.
The Phoenix lost 3-2 to Perth in Sydney at the end of January, after leading 2-1 at halftime.
The second meeting between the two sides will kick-off at 5:05pm AEDT (7:05pm NZT).
