Stand with us
On matchday, football brings people together, families, friends, and communities. But beyond the stands, many women and children across Aotearoa are living with a very different reality.
One in three women in Aotearoa will experience abuse in their lifetime, and New Zealand continues to have one of the highest family violence rates in the OECD. Nearly half of all homicides and reported violent crimes are linked to family violence, and around 50,000 women and children are referred to Women’s Refuge each year.
That’s why, in collaboration with Chemist Warehouse, we’re standing with Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge on matchday.
Providing 24/7 support for wāhine and tamariki, Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge helps people in crisis and supports long-term pathways to safety. Their work is grounded in manaakitanga, putting care, safety, and whānau wellbeing first.
Your support can help make a real difference.
