The next home game is the Phoenix vs Melbourne Heart on February 16 at Westpac Stadium. As soon as the gate ticker hits 10,000 the draw goes live and one lucky fan will be picked at random to take home the $10,000 cash.
With the Phoenix winning five of their last six matches – including a spectacular 5-0 victory in the last game at Westpac – there is no doubt the players are turning up and now their main sponsor Huawei hopes to encourage football fans to do the same.
“The team has been playing some exciting football and are just one win away from breaking into a playoff position. It would be fantastic to see a big crowd show up to get behind the Phoenix and help lift them when they play at home,” Huawei Director of Public Affairs Andrew Bowater said.
“The atmosphere at home games is already great, but with over 10,000 it will be amazing. We-re hoping this will help to push a few more people off the couch and down to the stadium with us.”
To get in the draw, all you need to do is turn up to the game. Your ticket will be scanned on entry and the moment the big screen shows attendance of 10,000 the prize goes live and someone will walk away with the $10,000. The winning seat number will be randomly selected from the scanned tickets and announced at half-time.
