The Wellington Phoenix have unveiled the club’s new away look for the 2024-25 A-Leagues.
It’s a tribute to Phoenix fans globally who support the club from all corners of the world.
The predominately charcoal kit is a fresh take on football fashion, blending the boldness of street style with the club’s legacy, and making it easy for fans to rep the Nix in any setting – everyday, everywhere.
Designed by Paladin Sports, the playing shirt features the tohu gifted to the club by local iwi Te Āti Awa. Te Raukura (the plume of white feathers), which is an important symbol to the tribes who affiliate to Te Āti Awa and other Taranaki iwi, is the centrepiece of the tohu and takes centre stage on the front of the shirt.
It also includes a modern collar that sets the kit apart from previous years, offering a clean and contemporary look.
The Phoenix have worked collaboratively with the club’s commercial partners, including McDonald’s and Chemist Warehouse, to create a “white out” appearance, making the shirt not just for match days but to be worn in any casual setting.
New principal partner Entelar Group is to the fore of the men’s away kit this season, while OPPO is front and centre on the women’s away strip.
The club has also teamed up with prominent athletes Du’Plessis Kirifi, Mila Reuelu-Buchanan and Jane Watson to showcase the new away shirt as a statement of style off the pitch.
The men’s and women’s Wellington Phoenix away kits for the 2024-25 A-Leagues are available now.
