Chemist Warehouse commits to club-wide partnership

The Wellington Phoenix are delighted to announce Chemist Warehouse has come on board as a premium partner.

Chemist Warehouse has committed its long-term support to the Phoenix by agreeing to a club-wide partnership.

As well as appearing on the back-of-shirt for the Phoenix women and men for the remainder of the 2021/22 A-League seasons and beyond, Chemist Warehouse’s support extends to the club’s academy and community programmes.

Since opening its first store in 2017, Chemist Warehouse has focused on making healthcare more affordable and accessible to New Zealanders, ensuring a wide range of health and beauty brands are offered at the lowest prices in as many communities across the country.

“The past two years have been challenging, that’s why we are committed to helping more New Zealanders access more affordable prescriptions and enjoy what Chemist Warehouse has to offer in terms of health services, wellness and beauty” Chemist Warehouse New Zealand CEO Azman Haroon said.

“Our long-term partnership with the Wellington Phoenix is just the start of our commitment to sport and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. This partnership will support local communities get well, stay well and live well and we look forward to supporting the club at every level.”

Wellington Phoenix general manager David Dome has welcomed the new partnership.

“We’re thrilled to have Azman and his team at Chemist Warehouse as partners of the Phoenix,” Dome said.

“Chemist Warehouse is an iconic brand and the deal is a shot in the arm for the club.

“In particularly challenging economic times they’ve show faith in the Phoenix and the direction that we’re going.”

It is hoped the Chemist Warehouse logo will be on the players’ shirts in time for Friday night’s Liberty A-League women’s match against Melbourne Victory and the men’s Isuzu UTE A-League match against Macarthur FC on Sunday.
