The Wellington Phoenix are delighted to announce OPPO have signed on for a fifth season as one of the club’s principal partners.
The global smart device brand have been backing the Phoenix since 2021 when OPPO were front-of-shirt sponsors for the men during their second full A-League campaign in Australia.
They doubled their support for the club the following year and have been principal partners for both the men and women for the past three seasons.
The OPPO logo will be front and centre on the women’s new home shirt for the 2025-26 Ninja A-League, which was unveiled today, and will be to the fore of the men’s two alternate away kits for the 2025-26 Isuzu UTE A-League, which will unveiled in the coming weeks.

Phoenix general manager David Dome has hailed the partnership extension.
“OPPO New Zealand have backed us through thick and thin and have been incredible principal partners,” Dome said.
“They came on board when we needed them most in 2021 when the men were forced to play a second straight season in Australia as a result of the Covid pandemic.
“OPPO have since played a major role in the rise of the only professional women’s football team in New Zealand, and are now staunch supporters of both our A-League teams.
“Together we have helped OPPO’s brand grow in Aotearoa and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve in the fifth season of our partnership.”
OPPO New Zealand managing director Morgan Halim says renewing their partnership with the Phoenix for a fifth season is a proud milestone.
“OPPO first came on board during a challenging period for the club, and since then we’ve grown together from supporting the women’s team to celebrating unforgettable moments across both sides,” Halim said.
“For us, football is about more than sponsorship, it’s about backing a game that inspires and connects communities across New Zealand.
“This extension also comes as OPPO deepens its national commitment to football.
“Alongside our new partnership at a national level, continuing our support of the Phoenix shows just how much we believe in the growth and future of the sport here in New Zealand.
“We’re excited to be part of another season and to keep bringing fans closer to the action through OPPO innovation and storytelling.”
